The Support You Need to Thrive
Needing a little extra help shouldn’t mean giving up everything in your lifestyle.
Think of assisted living as having a personal team by your side 24/7—someone to handle the daily tasks that have become difficult so you can focus on the things that bring you joy. Whether it is help with medication, getting dressed in the morning, or just having a steady arm to lean on, our team is here to provide exactly what you need, when you need it.
You still have your own private suite, your own schedule, and your own friends; you now have the peace of mind knowing that support is always right outside your door.
It is about empowering you to live your best life, with confidence.
Is Assisted Living Right for You?
Assisted living is the ideal “middle ground” for seniors who do not need complex medical care but are finding it harder to live alone safely.
If you or your loved one is struggling with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or managing medications, this lifestyle offers the perfect solution. It provides the safety net of 24-hour support combined with the privacy and dignity of your own apartment.

Frequently Asked Questions About Assisted Living
Assisted living is a residential community for seniors who need help with daily tasks (like bathing or medication) but do not require constant medical attention. Nursing homes (skilled nursing facilities) are for individuals who need 24/7 medical care and monitoring.
Before you move in, our wellness director will meet with you for a personalized assessment. We discuss your health history, daily routines, and preferences to create a care plan that is tailored specifically to you.
Yes! We love keeping couples together. Even if one spouse needs more care than the other, you can share a suite. This allows you to stay together while ensuring both of you get the support you need.
Generally, Medicare does not cover the cost of room and board in assisted living. However, many families use Long-Term Care Insurance or the Veterans Aid & Attendance benefit to help offset costs. Some of our communities, like The Ashford, may have options regarding Medicaid waivers; we recommend contacting the specific community for financial guidance.
Most of our suites are unfurnished because we want you to make the space your own. We encourage you to bring your own furniture, photos, and decor to create a home that feels familiar and comfortable.
One of the advantages of Wallick is our ability to adapt. As your needs change, we can adjust your care plan to provide more support. Additionally, many of our campuses offer memory care, allowing for a smooth transition if specialized cognitive support becomes necessary.
You are welcome to continue seeing your own primary care physician. However, for added convenience, many of our communities partner with visiting physicians and specialists who can see you right in the comfort of your own apartment.
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on our dining program. Residents in assisted living enjoy three chef-prepared meals a day, served restaurant-style in our dining room. We can also accommodate most dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
